Musings on the end of the end... NO SPOILERS

Well. I suppose all I can feel is blank... and oddly vindicated, hehe, seems a few people will owe me fic to fulfil certain bets! It truly has been a great eight years of fandom. My eyes are all blotchy and unpleasant-looking and I should probably sleep now. I don't really want to let go of this book. Seriously, I have it in my lap right now, it may prove a little hard to relinquish.

I'm totally writing my own version of the epilogue, though ;)

i too am disliking that epilogue. and i think we all know why...although i have grown fond of almost every character in the damn book.

i wanted, after the final battle, for her to do like a 2 weeks later jobby, with a memorial or something, so you knew what was happening with everyone else!!! not this omg, 19 years later, lets all have kids AT EXACTLY THE SAME TIME and send them off to school. no. didnt think so.

You know he should have died. Just like the deaths at the end were superfluous and the epilogue made me throw up.

I really don't care, I just wanted the satisfaction of you losing :P Ah, anything. Doesn't have to be H/D, although a mention of the receding hairline would be exceedingly amusing. Whatever you want, just make it funny :)

The Remus&Tonks deaths were superfluous, and I don't think fred was dealt with well enough. Dobby had like half a chapter devoted to his death! But Snapey, oh, I am inconsolable :'(
