Descensus Facilis Averni? Baron Hotshaft?
I had not been aware up until now that "original novel" meant to some "original to all but those who have read my fannish epic ie. have lived under a rock these past six years." I mean, I had expected this to some extent, but really, I would prefer to be forwarned if I am about to undertake the reading of yet another epic D/G fic. I just hope Jace doesn't get shot by a poisoned arrow anytime soon.

D/G is the best kind of fic. It's just a shame you had to pay for this one.

I'm not necessarily saying I mind D/G, or that the book is bad - it's great, actually, of course it is, Cassandra Claire (or Clare as we must call her now) wrote it, but... I have this odd feeling I've read it before? Meta-fanfic.

Bwahaha. Meta-fanfic, how very apt. Yo, did you know I was only introduced to meta for supernatural? I had no idea what it was before.

I actually read some reviews for the book. They said it was amateurish writing and not up to par for her actual fanfic stuff. Like her fanfic was a lot better.
